Dr. Tifaney Jones joined the Walker Animal Hospital team in March 2021.
She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University and spent her clinical year at Louisiana State University where she graduated in 2019. She is originally from Spartanburg, SC, and recently practiced in Texas before moving back to Louisiana. She has an interest in exotics, surgery, and fear-free practices.
Dr. Jones shares her household with her lab/terrier mix 'Twizzler' whom she adopted 9 years ago from the shelter. Her hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, and scuba diving. A fun fact about her is that she has traveled to 32 of the United States, Canada, and has even visited the Galapagos Islands located in South America.
